About Poison the Mind

Poison the Mind was founded by Matthew "Bitterman" Hall in 2004 as a creative outlet for artists and writers. His username came from Metallica's "The Unforgiven"— "He tries to please them all, this bitter man he is."

The community was known for its focus on post-apocalyptic fiction, dark fantasy, and creative contests. Members supported each other's work, participated in writing contests, and built lasting friendships through their shared love of creative expression.
